The staff was friendly. the room had fresh flowers as a touch for my birthday! the bed was comfy. The shower was good.
the location is a mile from the town center. the return walk includes a steady climb with steep steps. the shuttle bus runs infrequently and stops at 4:30pm, inconvenient.

i appreciated the grand hotel vibes because of the cast iron railings on the stairs. the spa and pool facilities were superb and definitely worth a visit. the room was clean and spacious.
the breakfast buffet seemed rather dull given the quality of the hotel. the selection felt limited and could benefit from some additions. this detracted slightly from an otherwise excellent stay.

the steam room was the best i have ever seen, i loved it! the breakfast had a delicious selection of food. it was served in a clean, light and airy room and the quality of the evening food was excellent. we enjoyed the jazz music.
the room had frosted glass windows and barely opened. this overlooked the rooftop and a water cooling tower. it was a very poor view

the spa area includes a lovely pool area with a sauna and a steam room. bathrobes and slippers were provided in my room, i liked that touch. parking facilities are available for cars and bikes, that's convenient.

the breakfast was really good with enough options to choose from. i really enjoyed the breakfast, dinner, and an afternoon rest with drinks on the terrace. the staff at the restaurant were fantastic and always helpful.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. benard in the restaurant made mealtimes a joy, i really appreciate the good service. the staff at reception was also fantastic.

The location is good and it's easy to find with free parking available. a bus or taxi is needed to reach the town center. there is a regular local bus or a hotel shuttle available. It makes everything easier.

the room was spacious and clean, i guess.
The spa access was a joke. I was denied changing room access. apparently, spa members take priority, even though the spa wasn't busy at all, i found that unprofessional. some staff were inflexible with simple requests, annoying.
